Symantec / Norton   Security Check  &  Virus Scan   Must use IE 6, 7 or 8.

Turn off your current AV (AntiVirus) program before starting an online scan.  Online virus scans can be run regardless of which AV program you currently have installed on your computer.  You must allow ActiveX to load the scanner.
More than one AntiVirus program should not be installed on a PC at the same time.  Most good AV software will actually prevent this from happening; if more than one AV program IS installed, serious system conflicts can occur.
Most AV programs now offer Spyware/Adware/Popup solutions as well.  We recommend you still use Spybot, Ad-Aware and MS Windows Defender (for XP & Vista.)  You will find that what one program does not detect and remove, another might.  Check the Download Programs page for more information.
